U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission

The CFTC publishes the first Disaggregated Commitments of Traders report for 22 physical commodity markets. The U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission - ensures the integrity of the Futures and Options Markets. Congress created the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) in 1974 as a dedicated agency with the responsibility to regulate commodity futures and option markets in the United States.
